Welcome to Adaptive e-Course: Introduction to Information Sysems Wiki. I hope you will enjoy your stay with us around here. This project started on 1/7/2008 with the objective of providing an effective graduation project experience to 4th year students in Faculty of Computers and Information Sciences in Mansoura University.

This project will tend to be a practical experience in the faculty and be available to all people of interest worldwide. Adaptive e-Course came from my experience with Learning Management Systems (LMSs) as a result of the effort to provide a general purpose LMS. While this experience did not achieved the target, Adaptive e-Course arose in the attempt to present concepts and principles of our work via the 'Introduction to Information Systems' course.

Objectives of this project include:

Utilizing Web 2.0 Technologies in Faculty e-Learning System
Innovating new methods to support collaborative learning
Highlighting the importance of collaborative learning
Integrating Collaborative learning methods into Faculty e-Learning System
Providing Interoperability with e-Course currently under construction
